This is an advanced studio course focusing on the art and craft of directing for the theater. Through the use of exercises, scene work, reading theoretical texts, and writing papers on directorial concepts, students will be encouraged to broaden and deepen their personal aesthetic while simultaneously developing techniques necessary for realizing their directorial vision.
