A theoretical and empirical introduction to psychology as a natural science. Emphasis will be on the basic phenomena in physiological psychology, cognition, perception, and social psychology and the principal experimental paradigms employed in their investigation. Three hours of lecture, two hours of lab per week. Recommend completion by the end of the junior year. Prerequisites: QR1, PS101 or NS101, PS217. (Fulfills QR2 and natural sciences requirements.) H.
