Behavior is a product of evolution and a means of animal adaptation. This course considers the mechanisms, proximate causes, and ultimate origins of behavior. Prerequisite: BI106 or ES105, and any two 200-level biology courses; for neuroscience students: NS101, BI105, and BI244. Three lectures, three hours of lab or fieldwork a week.
