Exploration of applications to managerial decision-making, claim validation, and research through scanning the environment, collecting data, designing and conducting analyses, and presenting and generalizing conclusions. Students engage in active learning to convert data into information through the use of probability, descriptive and inferential statistical procedures, simple modeling, and forecasting.
