The structure and function of major tissues and organs of seed plants, stressing the origin and differentiation of tissues and organs, i.e., a developmental approach with a strong evolutionary emphasis. The major focus is on angiosperms (flowering plants) with comparisons being made to gymnosperms. Co-convenes with BIO 546. Letter grade only. Prerequisite: BIO 284 or BIO 284H
