First time entering freshmen and transfer students with less than 30 hours. Helps students adjust to the university, provides a support system and promotes understanding of the learning process and essential academic skills through group activities, guest speakers, out of class assignments. Career exploration/assessment. Attendance at Freshman Institute is mandatory for all students enrolled in this course. (Satisfies university freshman seminar requirement.)
