This course offers a study of a varied selection of Hispanic plays from the Middle Ages to the present day. The focus of this study is placed in the historical and cultural context of the texts and their performances. Students will be introduced to the theoretical and analytical aspects of theatre, as well as performing. Prerequisite: SPA 307 and a Literature course or instructor's approval.
