(formerly SPA 281) This is a capstone course that serves as a culmination of the students' experiences in the study of the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures and literatures. Students will engage in research in the field of Latin American and Spanish literature, history and culture; select an area of specialization; and complete a research paper reflective of the methodology, documentation and organization discussed in the course. Students are required to participate in weekly presentations, group discussions and readings. Limited to junior and senior Spanish majors. Chairperson's approval needed. (Offered Spring) 3 credits
