(formerly SPA 203, 302, 321) This course offers a detailed study of some of the most representative literary works, authors and trends of Spanish Literature from the early Medieval Ages to the present day. The main goal of this course is to provide the student with a panorama of Spanish Literature through a cultural, thematic, textual and analytical approach. Class discussions will revolve around topical questions related to the texts and their literary movement to further develop critical reading skills. Prerequisite: SPA 307.
