(also COM, ENG 464; formerly POL 224) This program is limited to approximately sixty talented students from the entire state. Interns assist senators in their legislative work. They do research, help in the preparation of bills and resolutions, attend legislative hearings and assist in the preparation of the legislative newsletter. The program begins early in January and ends late in May. (May be taken as ENG 464 or COM 464) (Registration requires departmental approval) (Offered upon request) 6-15 credits
