(formerly SPA 261) This course provides intensive practice of Spanish in an unstructured field experience. Students devote six field hours and one seminar hour per week. Students will work as translators or interpreters in the community. The one-hour weekly seminar will consist of activities to develop language and communication skills, as well as discussions on cultural issues and implications. Prerequisite: Chairperson's approval.
