(formerly PSY 154, PSY 209) A behavior modifier's approach to the definition and assessment of psychopathology in purely behavioral terms. Techniques for observing and charting behavior, including various sampling, scaling and biofeedback monitoring methods, are demonstrated and compared with traditional psychometric procedures. Various applications of the approach to "special" populations (e.g., psychotic, retarded, brain-injured, learning disabled, etc.) as well as to more "normal" problems are discussed.
