The etiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, treatment modalities and implications of selected disease processes are introduced. Content includes stress response, deviations in cellular activity, inflammatory processes, immune response and fluid and electrolyte balance across the lifespan. Prerequisite: BIO 120, 121, CHE 112.
