(formerly NMT 150) At this level, the student should perform procedures step by step as the technologist gives directions and assistance. During this phase, the role of the instructor diminishes as the proficiency level of the student increases. At this level, the student may, at the discretion of the hospital clinic, participate in blood drawing samples. 3 days/wk for 8 hours/day (336 hours) Prerequisite: NMT 211.
