This Level IV comprehensive theory course focuses on the professional nurse's role in the care of acute health problems of adults. This three (3) hour/week course focuses on the humanistic application of the nursing process as it relates to the biological, psychological, spiritual, and socio-cultural needs of the patient/family experiencing multi-system, complex, acute illness.
