(formerly NMT 140) This course follows Nuclear Medicine II. The organization and function of a Nuclear Medicine Department will be described as to staffing, responsibilities, facilitation of patient throughput, equipment selection, interdepartmental and medical staff relationships. The therapeutic application of Nuclear Medicine will be studied. Specific procedures with a review of physiology and pathology and the properties of radionuclides will be presented.
