(formerly GRN 141) Frequently neglected as a major factor in unsuccessful aging, substance abuse will be explored through progression, physiological changes, assessments and interventions. Students will develop perspectives that facilitate awareness of ways this abuse can complicate nutritional deficits, relationship difficulties, depression and a history of accidents and falls in the older population.
