(also PSY 341; formerly CSP/PSY 241) An introduction to the use of statistical software for the analysis of various types of data in the behavioral and social sciences. Emphasis will be placed on methods of transforming collected research into computer data files, and selecting the appropriate parametric and non-parametric tests of significance for the type of data and research design employed. Reserved for Psychology Majors and Minors. Prerequisites: CSP 110, PSY 111, PSY 113 or MAT 115. Corequisite: PSY 312. (Offered Fall, Spring) Lab Fee-$30.00. 1 credit
