(also COM 466, POL 466; formerly ENG 208) An opportunity for professional experience on the staff of The Legislative Gazette, a weekly newspaper covering action in the state capital. Interns, who are granted visiting student status at SUNY New Paltz, participate in weekly seminars in journalism and in political science, and cover assigned beats in the state legislature. Prerequisites: ENG 233, 234, 301, POL 103 (Offered upon request) 6-9 credits
