CSC 491 - Capstone Seminar

Molloy University
Subject:
Description:
(formerly CSC 296) Students will be assigned a programming project which can take one of several forms. The project might be to develop a useful class--for example for sets or fractions. The project might require the development of a program, for example for a CA or a GA, which will then produce data to be analyzed by the student. Another possibility is a major group project, for example writing an SIC assembler, which will be modularized with individual students responsible for the different modules; the students will then unite the modules into a working unit. Each semester the nature of the project will depend on the number of students and student interest. Prerequisite: CSC 244, 323. Pre- or Corequisite: All other CSC courses required for the major.
