(formerly BIO 280, 281) Qualified Biology Majors undertake a research project which entails literature search, laboratory work, conferences and reports. Library research and design for laboratory experimentation must be completed in BIO 480. Faculty member must consent to sponsor student prior to approval by Department Chairperson. Qualified students complete their research and this project results in a written paper containing the results of their experimentation. Prerequisite: Senior standing and minimum 3.0 index in Biology. BIO 480 is a prerequisite for BIO 481. (Offered upon request) Lab Fee-$50.00 each course. 3, 3 credits
