Part I is a comprehensive, in-depth study of the human body encompassing basic concepts of cell structure and function, as well as general histology. An anatomical and physiological approach to each of the following systems is pursued with medical ramifications where applicable-integumentary, skeletal, muscular, central and peripheral nervous systems. A minimum grade of "C+" is required for Nursing, Cardio-Respiratory Science, Respiratory Care and Nuclear Medicine Technology majors before entering their respective programs. Three lecture and two lab hours per week. Prerequisite: Minimum SAT Critical Reading Test score of "480" is required to enter this course or completion of ENG 090 or ENG 101 with a "C" or better, as well as high school biology. (Offered Fall) Lab Fee-$50.00. 4 credits
