Observation and supervised practice teaching in the field of physical education in Elementary Schools. Preliminary interviews and subsequent consultations as arranged by the supervisor. Minimum 170 hours. Prerequisites: PHED 213, 305. (Cr. 3) *Applicants for Practice Teaching must have senior status, at least a 2.50 index overall, a C or better in all PHED and 300 and 400 level Biology courses, and meet the physical, mental, speech, language and other standards established for the profession. Application deadlines for student Teaching, first Monday in March for Fall semester; first Monday in October for Spring semester.
