Limits, derivatives, continuity, differentiation and an introduction to the definite integral. Applications of the definite integral, transcendental functions, integration techniques and infinite series. (Meets four hours per week). Prerequisite: A satisfactory score on the mathematics placement exam is necessary to enroll in MATH 103. Students are reminded that a grade of C- or lower in MATH 103 may indicate inadequate preparation for MATH 104. (Cr. 3,3)
