A learning opportunity that combines practical experience, reflection, and writing. Normally available to students who have already taken COOP 402 or 403. A student must apply to the department chair for preliminary approval of a placement with a statement of academic goals, a description of practical activities proposed, and a plan for supervision and evaluation of a written report. Final approval is conditioned on confirmation of placement with the internship setting. (Cr. 3)
