Studies of estuarine and near-shore marine ecosystems with emphasis on local temperate habitats. Two lectures and three field or laboratory hours. Fall. Prerequisite: BIOL 223. (Cr. 3) The following courses are offered for and are restricted to students majoring in departments other than Biology. Under no circumstances, except with permission of the Chair, will students majoring in Biology receive major credit for the following courses.
