Analyzes the role of government as an arbiter between business practices and society's expectations and values. From the perspective of the firm, addresses corporate responsiveness to public concerns, business ethics and public issues management. Considers government regulation of product safety and quality; environmental protection and resource conservation; workforce diversity; workplace health and safety; and international trade and competitiveness. Prerequisite: Business Seniors only. (Cr. 3)
