The design of modern digital signal processing software and hardware using actual DSP devices, analog interfacing to DSP hardware. A review of Signal processing concepts, design of FIR & IIR filters, design of algorithms for computing the FFT and Inverse FFT, analog interfacing hardware on the DSK board, the use of the MatLab Signal Processing package as a part of the overall DSP system design process. Prerequisites: EECE 303, EECE 304. (Cr. 3)
