This course is designed to help students understand, critique, analyze and integrate the major theories, research and application of dyadic and small group processes. It will emphasize group effectiveness for completion of tasks and communication. Diversity, including gender, ethnicity and culture, will be examined. Status and power will be examined from both worker and supervisor perspectives. Students will participate in structured group activities in an environment that facilitates candid and authentic communication. Prerequisite: Py-200. Rec. 3, Cr. 3.
