This introductory course in cosmology is a study of the latest data and theories about the evolution of the physical universe. Although largely descriptive, understanding of Newtonian mechanics, basic algebra, and geometry is required. Each student must have easy access to the Internet, either through the MMA network or via a home connection. Prerequisite: Ps-102 or Ps-162 with a grade of C- or above. Rec. 3, Cr. 3.
