Covers operations, testing, and components of steam power plants through lectures and laboratories that include work with a steam plant simulator and an operating steam plant. This course supports the marine license program requirements to meet the Standards for Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW). The course may have embedded assessment requirements that must be completed in addition to the class requirements. Prerequisites: Eg-382, and Et-371 or Es-371. Rec. 2, Lab. 2, Cr. 3.
