A condensed version of Eg-261 (Steam Generators I) with more emphasis on principles of design, automation, and operation, and less emphasis on construction details. Prerequisite: Marine Systems Engineering Major or consent of instructor. This course supports the marine license program requirements to meet the Standards for Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW). The course may have embedded assessment requirements that must be completed in addition to the class requirements. Rec. 2, Cr. 2.
