The next revolution in the television industry has already begun: interactive television. This overview course will introduce students to the social, aesthetic, and economic implications of a variety of new interactive content and technologies, such as Webisodes, podcasts, YouTube, voting reality shows such as American Idol, Interactive fan sites, and network interactive initiatives.
