Description:

This class explores the early history of entertainment media as seen through the audio dramas produced from the turn of the century to the present. It uncovers the fact that radio drama is actually audio drama, existing decades before commercial radio broadcasting. By studying the productions of the past, their techniques and similarities, we see that audio drama functions effectively in our rapidly evolving world of radio. 1 CREDIT
