This course is for students who are interested in learning programming skills necessary to work in the video game industry. While there is a clear need for a general understanding of digital arts and computer programming, there are distinct topics that are specific to the gaming industry that are outlined in this course. Topics included are: creating object interaction; game physics; animation; object collision; paths and pathfinding; translation and rotation; and creating and using the art pipeline. 3 CRED ITS PREREQUISITES: 36-2550 C++ PROGRAMMING I
