Through a series of exercises, students learn alternative editing strategies for both narrative and non-narrative work. Students cut three short projects based on each covered experimental tradition and then a longer final project. Projects develop with increasing complexity and enable students to apply their ideas about experimental film to their material to develop their own style and aesthetic.
