This project-centered course stimulates and assists students in the creation of an alternative film, video, or digital work. Students will employ an aesthetic that explores, challenges, or subverts mainstream narrative or documentary structures. The class builds on topics from Experimental Production I, including camera experimentation and image manipulation as well as the development of personal, political, or social themes. Festivals, distribution, and marketing of experimental film and video will also be emphasized.
