Course investigates acoustical issues pertaining to engineered systems in a wide range of environmental settings. Topics covered include heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) noise issues and design; noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) assessment; fundamentals of active noise control; and a primer on sound quality.
