New Millennium Studies is grounded in interdisciplinary studies in the humanities and social sciences through its ongoing theme of identity and culture. The seminar explores and reshapes intersections between liberal arts disciplines and fields in media arts and visual/performing arts. Topics and texts are selected and studied in ways that will help Columbia students become more competent and confident readers, writers, thinkers, creators, and collaborators.
