Course deals with some of the following questions: What is gay and lesbian culture How is it unique What kinds of literary images suggest uniqueness Course focuses on contemporary texts that may include those of Judy Grahn, Paul Monette, Audre Lorde, Rita Mae Brown, and John Rechy.
