This course continues the work begun in Role of Art I. As students reflect on their program experience, they further develop a vocabulary to convey its meaning to a variety of audiences--orally, in written form, and visually. Because learning is a highly contextualized and dynamic process, each member develops an individual product to represent personal understanding to a variety of audiences. These audiences could include program members and faculty, prospective employers, parents of young children, the general public, as well as pre- and in-service educators. The product must be substantive and of a level which can be presented to the benefit of the originator and the audience. Work will be exhibited in a Columbia gallery and critiqued in an open forum.
