Using various materials, students will learn to construct a variety of puppets and their environments. The class will offer an overview of puppetry, hands-on demonstrations, and performance and puppet creation workshops. Students will create original performances exploring the intersection of movement, sound, text and puppetry. The class will specifically teach Shadow and Rod puppetry. 3 CREDITS
