Advanced course which, in combination with private lessons, aims to improve keyboard skills, including sight reading, ensemble playing, and solo performance. In addition, students study ensemble literature and historical and contemporary approaches to the keyboard repertoire and technique. The course is a performance/learning opportunity for all students taking private piano lessons and satisfies ensemble requirements for students concentrating in piano instrumental performance. 1 CREDIT PREREQUISITES: 32-1110 SIGHTSINGING, MUSICIANSHIP, AND EAR TRAINING I, 32-1120 THEORY, HARMONY, AND ANALYSIS I, 32-2132 KEYBOARD II CONCURRENT: 32-2711 PRIVATE LESSONS: PIANO
