This ensemble is an intermediate level course for the smaller to medium sized combo. The song-based repertoire for the course is drawn from the straight-forward to more challenging arrangements of traditional popular music material, including rock, pop, and R&B. The course addresses the application of musicianship skills as they apply to ensemble awareness and effective rehearsal and performance techniques. 1 CREDIT PREREQUISITES: 32-1884 POP/ROCK ENSEMBLE I COREQUISITES: 32-2111 SIGHTSINGING, MUSICIANSHIP, AND EAR TRAINING II, 32-2121 THEORY, HARMONY, AND ANALYSIS II CONCURRENT: PRIMARY PRIVATE LESSONS
