This intermediate level ensemble course prepares students to perform with confidence and professionalism in a contemporary rhythm and blues context. Students will learn how to front a band and interact productively with fellow musicians. Students research and present material to the rest of the group for inclusion in ensemble repertoire. Course includes the recording of a live demo in a professional studio environment. 1 CREDIT PREREQUISITES: 32-1110 SIGHTSINGING, MUSCIANSHIP, AND EAR TRAINING I, 32-1120 THEORY, HARMONY, AND ANALYSIS I CONCURRENT: PRIMARY PRIVATE LESSONS
