Knowledge obtained in Sightsinging, Musicianship, and Ear Training I is applied with extensive sightsinging and dictation of rhythmic exercises and diatonic melodies in one and two parts. Major, minor, and modal scales are explored as are more sophisticated rhythmic values and time signatures. Students perform a diatonic melody in major or minor without the aid of an instrument, sightsing a diatonic melody in major or minor, and sing a melody while playing a simple accompaniment on the piano. 2 CREDITS PREREQUISITES: 32-1110 SIGHTSINGING, MUSICIANSHIP, AND EAR TRAINING I, 32-1120 THEORY, HARMONY, AND ANALYSIS I
