Course guides students through their first teaching experience in the community. Students teach a minimum of 20 hours over 12 to 15 weeks to a population of their choice. Students create a semester overview and individual lesson plans, keep a journal to analyze their experiences, and write a final evaluation of their work. Throughout the semester students and advisor meet to discuss methodology and experiences.
