Course examines professional business practices within a design consulting firm or design office of a manufacturer. Students focus on a variety of specialized activities that commonly occur inside a design office. Through a series of design problems, students are exposed to working in design teams, designing over a network, researching methods, and researching alternative ways to manufacture a single product.
