Course introduces different aspects and basic techniques of cartoon drawing. Five genres of cartooning are explored. The course includes an in-depth study of one-liner, multi-panel, advertisement, illustrative, and political editorial cartoons. Instruction includes the historical study of specific types of cartoons dating back to 1745.
