This course introduces the student to the fundamental security topics and concepts necessary for both the IT Technologist and Network Professional. This course provides the student with a fundamental understanding of general security concepts, communications security, infrastructure security, basics of cryptography, and operational/organizational security leading to an understanding of the fundamentals of network security.
